Please note that it is not possible to offer Courier options to customers with the following delivery postcodes:

Gift Wrapping

A beautiful Keepsake Box is available on all orders for £3.99. Simply select the Gift Wrap option during checkout and note any message that you would like added to the Gift Tag too. Please note that we may substitute the box for an alternative one if the one shown is out of stock. Please note that messages will only be printed on gift box orders.

Mainland UK Delivery

The gift sweets that you purchase at The Sweetie Stop will be sent via Royal Mail or City Link. Deliveries will take between 2 to 3 working days and will be sent between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday - Friday. All orders placed on a weekend will be dispatched on a Monday morning. Orders placed on Public Holidays will be dispatched the next working day. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee deliveries at specified times of the day or that they will arrive by a particular day.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Items sent by Royal Mail delivery should only take 2-3 working days.  However, if you have not received the item in this time please do not contact us until 28 days have passed as in most cases the parcel does get delivered in the end. Therefore Royal Mail will not investigate before this time period. The parcel number is recorded in the order tracking section on the site.This service does not allow you to claim for delayed parcels but you can claim to recover damaged or lost parcels.

Royal Mail Standard Parcels do not include compensation for loss or damage in transit. We recommend that you only pick this option as a last resort.

*Delivery to outer lying areas of Scotland may take longer.

City Link Courier Delivery

We also offer Courier Delivery to UK Mainland Addresses through City Link (Excluding those postcodes listed above). This can be selected manually during checkout, and offers you a more economical option for delivery of larger orders. 24hr delivery from despatch is expected (excluding weekends and public holidays). Please remember that not all orders are dispatched immediately as we may not have all items in stock. You will be required to sign for your parcel when it is delivered. If you are not at home when the parcel arrives, a card will be left for you to arrange an alternative delivery date with City Link. Failure to do this may result in the parcel being returned to us. Redelivery will incur additional charges. Cancellation of an order after it has been dispatch/delivered will incur a £6.99 charge to cover the cost of the courier. Payments must be made before your parcel can be redelivered. The cost of redelivery is £12.99.

Should you not wish re-delivery of a returned Item - your order will be refunded minus the cost of shipping to you and of the return shipping to us which amounts to £12.99. These charges are imposed upon us by the courier and are non-refundable.

All postage costs will be calculated at the checkout, offering you the most cost effective shipping methods dependent on your needs.

We will constantly review these costs to ensure that our customers are receiving best value for money. Please ensure that the delivery address that you supply during the checkout process is correct, as we cannot be held responsible for delayed delivery or non-delivery by Royal Mail or City Link if the delivery address given is incomplete or incorrect. Similarly, we cannot be held responsible for items damaged, delayed or lost in transit. We will however, help in any way we can, during Royal Mail or City Link claims of this nature.


In the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with your order, please send a mail to info@thesweetiestop.co.uk and we will happily address the issue. You can notify us of your wish to cancel the order within 7 days of receipt. You can also return your parcel to the address below. Please note that return postage costs are your responsibility and we will only refund the original cost of the item you purchased. We can not offer refunds on our gift hampers because these are made to order.
